About Us

Tryton Business Solutions was founded by Richard Treston to provide cost-effective accounting and finance function assessment and review services to small private companies, owner managers and individuals.

Richard qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Kieran Ryan & Co.

He is now a Fellow Chartered Accountant and prior to establishing Tryton Business Solutions he was Financial Controller with Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland Limited. Aside from tasks such as financial reporting and budgeting, his role involved latterly the takeover of the company (formerly Dolmen Stockbrokers) by Cantor Fitzgerald US.

Prior to working with Dolmen/Cantor Richard was with PricewaterhouseCoopers as an audit manager. A large portion of his client portfolio included small owner managed businesses, charities and not-for-profit organisations.

After completing his training with Kieran Ryan & Co., Richard was Financial Controller to a hotel and catering group of companies where his role primarily involved the restructuring of the group’s finance function.

Richard is an economics graduate of University College Dublin and an accountancy graduate of Dublin City University.
